  Those who are saying that the cash and carry has returned were not in this country in the past two and half years. The NHIS was dead gone long time under the past government. So the cry that cash and carry is back should be stopped immediately. Why always using these things to confuse Ghanaians, when NPP is in opposition then lies and machinations are used to throw dust in our eyes. This time, it won't work because Ghana people have wide eyes now. The man saying IR should go and burn the sea.

  It is sad that our Health Insurance System has collapsed. But who do you blame? Basic Health Insurance should not be totally free. The Richest of them all doesn’t give it for free. Almost all working Ghanaians should be made to have it, unless sent to specialists units where it may become difficult to fish such payments from the pocket. People who don’t have money to pay should have Family members, friends, and Well to acquaintances to co sign with their Bank Accounts for gradual payments. In Uncle Sam’s country, you have to have Health Insurance or someone has to pay for you except in cases of emergency. There should be Private Health Insurance Schemes that people can be insured with and can take care of Health situations of the sick.
  Health situations are very unpredictable and people should be encouraged to have insurance to take care of their health situations. We don’t have to wait until we are sick before we think of Health Insurance. Uncle Sam will take care of your basic health but not when you need specialized care.
  Let Ghanaians have Health Insurance than buying expensive clothing for every funeral, making huge donations at churches if they don’t even have money to feed their families, and attending Pilgrimages to Mecca, Jerusalem, Rome, and Bethlehem.

  Weija-Gbawe MP stop crying for Ghanaians over collapse of NHIS and the return of cash or carry system.They said they want incompetent president John Dramani Mahama to come and do his reset and he is doing as he promised.reset no nurses and midwives and doctors on salaries for 10 months and the collapse of NHIS for cash or carry system reset.All the witches and wizards who voted for Mahama are enjoying his reset including money for SHS admissions.

  Cash and carry has replaced the NHIS already. I have paid GHC 3 for paracetamol at the Manhyia Government before. Currently at the Komfo Anokye Hospital, what the do is to announce to patients that the NHIS is not working so patients with the NHIS cards cannot be attended to. Patients with the ability to pay are called and attended to while those with valid NHIS cards are neglected. It has happened to me twice at the KATH and I had to pay without any refund. In all these, our politicians don't care because they get their health care abroad. Was Alban Bagbin not frequenting Dubai for health care? But the death of Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings must be a warning that it is not always possible for politicians to be sent abroad for health care; sometimes, time is of essence as it happened to her. Assuming during her prime time as the longest first lady she fought for the Ridge Hospital to be equipped and run as any hospital abroad, her life could have been saved! The hospital would NEVER make it public but most probably a small equipment or medication they lacked could have saved her.

That was not all. They made sure all economic indicators fell flat and hence Fitch classifying Ghana as a junk state. What is this Ghawe MP saying? The last time I checked, this current government had cleared all outstanding debts owed service providers by the NPP government in the health sector and citizens are benefiting from the NHIS. Watch this dwindling group in Parliament for they've planned to discredit government whilst hiding under parliamentary immunity. These are the truth enemies of the state.
