This is my take: If they really want to play for Ghana, they should be accepted and reserved for the next Afcon and NOT the WC-2026. This will be a real test case of their resolve to play for Ghana.

Wow! Did Mr Nii Lante Vanderpuye just came into existence?
If he(Mr Nii Lante Vanderpuye) just came into existence and care to know, majority of Ghanaians are not against a Ghanaian who is born outside being called into the national team. Majority of Ghanaians are against an opportunistic and a selfish Ghanaian, whether born in Ghana or outside Ghana, who is only ready to play for Ghana because of the opportunity to play in the world cup in order to make a name for themselves.
Some of these players rejected Ghana when Ghana was seriously in need of them. But all of a sudden they are working in the dark or behind the scene to be invited.
If Mr Nii Lante Vanderpuye care to know, the kind of players the national team(the Black Stars) need is dedicated, committed, loyal, sincere, and patriotic players. Not selfish, unpatriotic and opportunistic players who will only play for Ghana at the world cup in order to make a name for themselves.
If Mr Nii Lante Vanderpuye just came into existence and care to know, and as others have said, Dede Ayew and Jordan Ayew are far different because it is very clear from day one that they are dedicated, committed, loyal, sincere and patriotic.
So Mr Nii Lante Vanderpuye, please come again.
God bless our homeland Ghana and make our nation great and strong. Amen.

Alright, it looks like this will have to go to a referendum. I guess pride means more to some people than the actual attempt to win the cup. In their minds, Ghana can lose 9-0 against Spain with our current crop of players than beef up with additional players (whether they initially heeded Ghana's call or not), as long as we are able to teach some players a lesson. Have we solved our left back problems, our aerial balls goal keeping problems, our goal scoring problems, our refusal to pass balls problems, to feel so comfortable with refusing acceptance to some Ghanaians who want to help now? I don't think so!

As much as your claims in some certain terms may be valid, it is very paramount to keep some sense of integrity and decency within the Blackstars and other national representations. Ghana is not a second choice country where if someone fails elsewhere, he/she turns to use as a compensation. We're better than that bro. And yes, we can stop anybody not just Harland and Mbappe if the defenders harmonize themselves and the team play according to plan adding individual brilliance. The relevance here is tactical discipline and team play, individuality counts but won't matter under stress and pressure so no matter how best you think those ungrateful boys are, without what I've said, they'll be another failure. So for now, we actually don't need them.

I agree with Nii Lante they should allow these 2 boys to play for Ghana. They are good players who can push Black Stars through though they refused in the past. First we must let them know the rules, and culture of Ghana Black Stars because of cultural differences where they were born and grew up. The coach should select the best to play for Ghana that is all we wang.

The Ayew family DNA is full blooded Ghanaian BRAND regardless of where they were born, and they have proven it. That is why they do not need official nationality switch to play for BS.

COD fool....this is not about pride or patriotism!

It is the BEST players who should feature for the country REGARDLESS of their past stance.
Arrant nonsense, form your personal team and invite whoever you want.
To: NAADA2; the invitation and inclusion of those foreign-born players, chiefly, Eddie Nketiah & Hudson-Odoi, will surely kill morale at the Black Stars camp.
And without the required morale added to passion, what can the sk ...
