This man is disturbing our ears with this knowing-all attitude oflate. He thinks that the dubious orchestration of the sacking of CJ Torkornoo by him, is such huge achievement, and so he has decided to be all over the place running his mouth and talking rubbish and tough. His time will be up, in the fullest of time. He should remember that Ghanaians have not sold the country to John Dramani Mahama and the NDC

Yoo, you dont know that Akufo Addo took an oral law exam in the office of the AG when his father was president, that's why this man is calling for a standard exam for all.

Mr Sory is one hundred percent right. It is baffling to observe that certain people from a particular region in the country, and who simply don’t have the ability and capability to be called lawyers, have been called to the Bar in order to maintain a “ balanced ratio” set by Nkrumah so many years ago. Many of these people now belong to a particular political group. It’s just baffling and unbelievable.

It’s a brilliant idea because people like Agyeman Badu slip through the net.He couldn’t have qualified as a Lawyer considering his inability to speak and read proper English grammar.

I wish Ghana could churn out more engineers and scientists so we can compete technologically with the advanced countries than always lawyers called to the beer bars all the time. Hahaha!!!

It must take only the exam to be called to the Bar. People should have the option to do self study and write the bar exams. In Uk, you don’t need a law degree to become a solicitor. Once you have a degree, and you can study on your own and pass the exam, you qualified. We should not force people to go to law school. There are people who have worked several years in law firms and their experience is far more than an LLB holder. Let them write the exams, if they pass, call them to the Bar.

Thank you Thaddeus for sharing light on this. I was wondering why every Ghanaian wants to either a Lawyer or a Pastor. The two yard sticks to defraud fellow citizens. Then there are so many different bar exams and no exams at all to preach the Bible outside the main stream religions. Now, it is clear. The cheapest profession to get through and steal our resources a degraded LAW DEGREE. We have jandem journalists, now getting a law degree and claim they are chiefs. Wow!!!. Very low IQ nation. Shameful. Listen to Thaddeus folks

Anyway! I don't think many lawyers are needed for Ghana to develop. Indeed China which is the fastest growing economy doesn't have these numerous lawyers stealing and wasting money needed to develop industries and other essentials. All of them are using some gymnastics to manipulate and destroy development. That's why China is developing and here being manipulated by have baked professionals. We need a few likes of Thad Sory and the rest should do productive things. Law education can not help Ghana. Any idiots able to bribe the judges, or in tge president's side calls himself a lawyer. What role does the law add to the economy?

When someone is going to law school lectures he should come and inform you. Nsemhunu. How many people attend classes for law school in the US. We always want to complicate things in Ghana instead of focusing on quality.
