  The petition stated that the deceased Boa Amponsam and sister were adopted by Nana Owusu Bori and that they were not genetically part of the Royal Agona family, and so the deceased Boa Amponsam was a Regent chief, and he appointed his niece to the throne when he was supposed not to.

Denkyira has remained static for over 2 decades. It's time for Denkyira to move forward. It's time for dynamic leadership. However, now that he has statred selling the lands that belong to the Royal family of Assin Kushea, the family has destooled him as a Regent chief since October last year.
