Guys, let's be smart. If anyone now wants to play for Ghana because of the world cup, let's welcome them; get them to switch nationality first and, if possible, feature them in matches to lock them in (and not necessarily take them to the world cup) but they would have been locked in for the future. There will be football beyond the world cup. WE MUST BE SMART, GUYS!! No one can take anyone to court if we don't take them to the world cup, but we may need them in the future

Who's playing games with people's life here? Don't we have to be fair and objective to everyone - including those who toiled to qualify us? Are you saying that we should sign a document to guarantee a spot in the team for those who suddenly want play for Ghana? Shouldn't spots on the world cup team be left to the coach and his technical team to decide - including maintaining the current team chemistry?
If anyone wants to join the team today and their sole reason is that we promise them a guaranteed spot on the world cup team, they should go to hell!

Yeah if he wants to play for us now...then we should give him a chance especially since Asare is getting up there in age

Yeah, but after the World Cup.
No 'monkey-dey-work-baboon-dey-chop' business here. Who should toil to qualify for who to go onto the big stage?

Please, please my fellow Ghanaians, l am begging you to select the best Ghanaians for our cherished Black Stars. Some of us are fed up with our team just showing up at the world cups for showing up sake. Let's compensate the monkeys and let the baboons do a good job for mother Ghana. Let's put aside our pride and get the best Ghanaian players for our team. The Akans say when your child does the thing on your laps, you don't cut off your laps! They are Ghanaians. If they are very good, by all means bring them onboard, period!

Deceptive headline. At the time he said not now because he was playing in the qualifiers with the Dutch U-21. What do you think he should have said? Yes I'll abandon my team right now and come?. He also said that, yes, in future there's the possibility. He's did not 'dismiss talks of playing for Ghana's. Stop with the mischief, don't try to court hatred for the young man. If he's ready to play he can come if the coach wants him. His position is actually an area where we need the help and he's very very good. He's not like Odoi and Nketiah who have been playing hide and seek with us for at least over 4 years.

Because Ghana has qualified for a world cup, a lot of Ghanaians think it is time for vengeance on these type of players. Even if they did not say they want to come now, we assume they want to and then say anthing we want.

Petty- minded Ghanaian journalists. As soon as they see an European player with the semblance of a Ghanaian name, presto he will like to play for Ghana. Shallow- mindedness
