    Job opportunities should not be on the table now, more than half of the people in the galamsey pits were gainfully employed but join the train because of greed.force them out and they will go back to their businesses.

    The state should use all the available law implementation resources at its disposal to quell this illegal menace on our ecosystem. We should not kowtow to the dictates of the criminals.

    There should be specialised galamsay court that is soley for galamsay offences. The court should have the powers to confiscate all properties of all galamsayers if found guilty. This is going to be a disadvantage for galamsay ...
