Such stupidities and madness only took place under the evil, dangerous and mad Military Dictatorship of Efo Jeremiah John Rawlings and his Anlo Ewe maniacs who were helped by some irresponsible Military youth like Akatapore and the Tsikatas. That state of affairs should not be allowed to happen again. Let us be civilized.

  It is just a shame that Military Personnel at this age and time can leave their Barracks and assault civilians in their towns. Are we still in the era of Efo Jeremiah John Rawlings when Soldiers could just harass and beat innocent civilians for something stupid as having clashed with another man/boy over a lady. Foolish Soldiers like Nkwantabisa, Akatapore and other useless Soldiers made places like Tema Station in Accra, Makola, Circle, Koforidua Jackson’s Park, Kamina Barracks horrible places for civilians.
  This cannot be done in the Developed Countries because Soldiers cannot just go on such Operations without a Senior Officer who would be in command and will not accept such stupidities.
  In Uncle Sam’s country many of the Civilians one sees are retired Soldiers or Soldiers in active duty but cannot wear their uniforms to town unless assigned and accompanied by Officers. Also, the people that may be seen as civilians may carry very powerful Weapons like .45mm Pistol and will not hesitate to use it if abused by a Soldier. Such Military stupidities were very common during the Efo Jeremiah John Rawlings’s horrible and murderous AFRC mad days. The Military should be able to discipline the irresponsible and uncouth members of their own.

In such situations, there should be maturity and wisdom. If anything at all, the Police are sent first to handle the situation. It is upon the request from the Police that the Military under the command of an Officer are sent to arrest the situation. The Military are trained to go to war but not to deal with civilians. Have we so soon forgotten the evil and atrocities that Soldiers subjected Ghanaians to during the Stupid and murderous Revolution of Efo Jeremiah John Rawlings? How many senior Military Officers and innocent Ghanaians were arrested, tortured, maltreated and killed by irate Military maniacs headed by the murderers Efo Jeremiah John Rawlings, Boakye Djan and the Anlo Ewe maniacs who were supported by some drugged Military Youth from the North of Ghana . Honestly speaking, Soldiers are trained to go to wars and protect their countries. It is the Police who are supposed to deal with Civilians. How often do we see the Military dealing with civilians in the Developed Democratic World. Soldiers should remain in the Barracks.
