We have loads of good players on the wings who also love to play and sacrifice for Ghana unlike the inconsistent Odoi who has lost his Chelsea shine and couldn't also make the mark at Leverkusen. Eddie is on the bench at Crystal palace, why should these average players come in ahead of the many talented players we already have who have also been part of the group all along. Did the 2 boys hear the coach when he said that if anyone wanted to join then they should do so during the qualification phase in order to integrate with the team etc.?. These average boys were waiting for the team to qualify to make themselves available. We don't need them, our boys de ball pass them.

This refusal was really strange, because England was not calling them either. Ghanaians didn't see why they remained loyal to England despite being kept on the sidelines. If they were so sure that nothing would make them play for Ghana, then nothing should make them play for Ghana. Who should go through the tough rudimentary process of qualifying the team for these arrogant foreign born players to come play for the final honors. A player like Hudson Odoi visited Ghana and had the privilege of meeting the nation’s President at the Jubilee House , by then Nana Akufo Addo. Nana himself had to invite this young man to join the team. Ask what happened. Such impunity and disrespect to turn down the offer upon his return to base in the UK. Who then should be hewers of wood and drawers of water for who to come enjoy. Just like Prince Boateng did after the 2010 World Cup, they may not even respond to invitation to future qualifying matches. Trust me, that these two players may no more be in their primes. There’re more younger foreign domiciled players available to the technical team. Let’s allow patriotism and respect for our country and selfishness and commitment to rule and stop stabbing the back of those who are always there for us. Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew were born in France. Otto Addo was born in Germany. But all of them quickly accepted Ghana’s call.

It still a long way before the tournament proper; we don't pray for injuries, but the are inevitable.
