  All that amount for a common quiz? Why not organize a competition that will bring out the best science or technological invention from our students? Like those female students who produced a different type of ventilator during COVID days? What has the nation benefitted from those useless "chew and pour" events over the years? Presec is supposed to be the highest winner. What have they created or invented since that useless competition started? Our leaders are not interested in seeing this country develop or grow!

Wasting students talent with just a quiz or competition. It should be dubbed National Maths and Science Chew and Pour Competition (NSMCPC). Hahahaha!! A nation of jokers who claim to vote for leaders but end up putting clowns in office!!

  Huuhuudious azaaaa mathematics science quiz.They've been in existence for more than 30yrs, but their old contestants cannot even produce Condoms or Lipsticks. Most of them have vanished into the thin air.

  The NMSQ has outlived its usefulness after 30yrs in existence. It's now becoming a form of entertainment (Concert party) to the youth, instead of it being another way of improving the education of maths & science to Ghanaian ...

  The NMSQ has outlived its usefulness after 30yrs in existence. It's now becoming a form of entertainment (Concert party) to the youth, instead of it being another way of improving the education of maths & science to Ghanaian students. There's the need for a review to catchup with the rest of the world.The NMSQ shd be more practical, than the current format which is basically THEORETICAL ( chew & pour)

  When it comes to education both NDC and NPP are a huge disappointment. Things would have been different and better if the kids of our politicians were to be attending school right here in Ghana.

  We need a govt which is courageous and bold to reform the whole Ghanaian educational system.Borh BECE & WASSCE shd be scrap and merge as one exams.That means both JHS & SHS have to merge to make it one school.It will demand a huge capital cost than even the FSHS, but then if we abolish boarding housing of students it will reduce cost.Keeping students in the classroom for a long period b4 they are exposed to external examination will improve their performance. A reduction in the numbers of external exams will reduce cheating, take away all the problems we are encountering and give students more yrs to learn.Elsewhere students only write ONE external exams prior to university or post high school, that is when they 18 plus.

Mist of these guys graduate and even leave the shores of the country. NDC is turning into another wasteful political entity wasting hard-earned tax payers money... Let them go and seek proper sponsorship for the programme and support with logistics not these chunk of People's money. This is irritating to say the least. Will you dash same money to the National Public Speaking Competition, National Independence Day Debate Competitions as well???? This is crazy... We politicize everything, even ordinary quiz competition!!! What the f*ck is wrong with our leaders????

  Yaovi, our leaders intentionally don't want to develop the youth. It's like some grand design. An educational system that doesn't yield any fruit apart from having a biological advantage of chew and pour.
