Ghanaian Youth Unite Beyond Politics to Call on President Mahama to Continue His Good Works

In an extraordinary show of unity and patriotism, the youth of Ghana — from every political party and background — have come together to form a powerful movement without political colors. This movement, known as The Youth for National Progress, has one clear message: President John Dramani Mahama must continue the great work he has begun for Ghana.

For the first time in many years, young people are putting aside political differences to speak with one voice. They believe that Ghana’s progress and development should not be interrupted by political rivalry or division. Instead, they are calling for continuity, stability, and visionary leadership to build on the foundation already laid.

According to the group’s leaders, under President Mahama’s leadership, Ghana has seen real progress in infrastructure, education, health, and digital transformation. Roads, hospitals, schools, and energy projects have given hope to millions. The youth believe that with a renewed mandate, Mahama can complete these projects and take Ghana to even greater heights.

“Our generation has suffered enough from leadership that focuses on politics instead of progress,” the movement declared. “We have seen what happens when unqualified leaders take over — our nation goes backward. This time, we are united for Ghana, not for any political party.”

They emphasized that their mission is not about party loyalty, but about national interest and the future of the youth. By uniting as one people, they hope to inspire all Ghanaians to think beyond partisanship and support the kind of leadership that brings tangible results.

As the movement spreads across the regions, it is gaining massive support from students, entrepreneurs, farmers, and professionals who share a common belief — that Ghana deserves continuity, not constant change.

In their words: “We are not NDC, we are not NPP — we are Ghanaian youth, united for progress, peace, and prosperity.”

Anyway, when recruited, they know that they will not go to any war but just put on their Military Uniforms and go to town to show off and bully innocent civilians. In Uncle Sam’s country, Canada, and the Developed Western World, people are pleaded to or lured to join the Military even from the High School. And in Ghana, the applicants queue for days at the Sports Stadium just to apply to see if they can be enlisted. What a Poor and Backward Country..
Why can’t we recruit such young ones to be in the farming and construction work? When I was quite young at the times of Busia, Kutu and Akuffo, nobody queued up to join the Army. I have some classmates who are members of the Salvation Army and were recruited to join the Army because they could play the Trumpet. What happened? Now you have to know someone who can help you to bribe your way through. What a failed and corrupt country..
We must admit that we are living in a sorry country. We should be ashamed of ourselves. Our system is nasty. Soldiers can just go to town and even bully young guys because they have clashed over a lady. TWEAA. Only in a forgotten Country like Ghana can this happen. I told my friend that in Uncle Sam’s country, we fear the Police more than the Soldiers because many of the Police have served in the Military for over 10 years before being enlisted into the Police and be trained to deal with Civilians. Men, you can’t joke with the Police of Uncle Sam. Try, and you will be a Dead Dog.

I would also like that all people who are allowed to vote should present their Tax Certificates for the past four years. And they must also present their Ghana Card which is difficult for non Ghanaians to have. And Ghanaians can easily see and identify non Ghanaians by their ascents when they speak the English Language, and even any other Ghanaian language. Even Togolese AYIGBE ascent is different from that of Ghanaians.

In fact, Ghana has a problem at hand.

If the NDC doesn't take care their defeat in 2028 will be 1000 x 1000 more than the defeat of the NPP. So far no show for ORAL prosecutions, Galamsey issues especially lack of good drinking water and health problems, non payment of certain sections of public sector salaries, slow corruption prosecutions, etc etc. NDC be careful we are watching.

Each traditional area should have a solder or immigration officer or custom from their area which they would be proud off. Government should take this very seriously. Division of the country cake. Don't just pack the military with recruits from one region. Let us divide the national cake. I know every traditional area has a qualified person. We have too many tribes dominating some ministries. One is Foreign Affairs and immigration and customs
