Next time find a way of communicating such that the real message is put across which easy for public consumption with less public sentiments. Otherwise such people as you have described would easily be lured to the opposition or otherwise.
More so this could be a tool or weapon to brain wash such people, wooing them to the NPP camp.
Don’t forget politics is about numbers. Next time encourage them to do the needful by working hard to levels that gives them the opportunity to aspire for higher positions. To some , bringing it up “raw” damps of spirits.
Yes some times one will need to call a spade a spade but at the same time will need to communicate the TRUTH tactfully in the most acceptable manner.
You must have been heckled in diverse ways - from people asking favours from you to help put them in certain positions, some will even want you to give them money etc etc. This kinds demands ranging from A-Z is impacts heavily on the psyche and therefore one at that leadership position as Honourable Muntaka will have to have psychological “SHOCK ABSORBERS”. At this stage public demands are enormous some genuine but some not genuine and irrational. These in my view are hard core human dynamics which cannot be swept under the carpet and that is why we need experienced people like the Honourable Muntaka to take this position as Minister of Interior. So be circumspect with what you say and what you don’t say,at what time and how you say it ……..
Good luck Honourable; we are praying for all of you Ministers in government, Parliamentarians and what have you, for the Almighty God’s wisdom to lead us and deliver but not with your own strength but by God’s strength and grace.

1.HONEST HARD WORK,
2.SACRIFICE,
3.DISCIPLINE,
4.PATIENCE,
5.RESILIENCE,
6.TENACITY.
Most people who make it big in any sphere of life do so because they have the focus, endurance and have learned not to be distracted by unimportant issues. THEY TREAT TIME LIKE A VERY PRECIOUS COMMODITY, LIKE GOLD.
Not so long ago I was talking to a young man who had all these big ideas about what he wanted to achieve in life. We discussed how he used his time (for example what he had been doing the previous one month). I pointed out that while his goals were all very praiseworthy, he needed to be more focused and disciplined in his use of time and needed to prioritize his time and resources and refocus his energies. I made the following recommendations:
1. Unsubscribe Netflix- he was spending at least 2-3 hours a day watching this. He needed to free up this time to devote more time to his demanding studies. With the kind of highly competitive career he had in mind merely passing his exam would not be enough; he would have to PASS WITH DISTINCTION OR FLYING COLOURS IN ORDER TO BE EVEN CONSIDERED AS A STUDENT.
2. Consider reducing the time he spent on the hockey pitch (he is quite a good hockey player but readily admitted that he would never make the big league)
3. Start saving up money for the various exams and possible expensive travels abroad he would likely need. I suggested that he should consider getting rid of his BMW (admittedly 10 years old) which was expensive to run and maintain and perhaps replace it with something more affordable e.g. cycling to work 3 miles away (and thereby killing 2 birds with one stone- cycling is great physical exercise and there are no running costs compared to his petrol guzzling BMW)
4.Review and reduce the time he spent on social media, with friends , social functions and parties etc.
That was nearly a decade ago. I am not sure how well he followed these PRINCIPLES OF GRATIFICATION because he relocated to another city some months later and I lost contact with him.

What hint did that action Mahama took give to the other Security officers with NDC affiliation?
Again Dormaahene has shown himself to be lawless by refusing to honor the Court rulings while he himself is a sitting Judge. He has mentioned never to obey any court order against him, but John Mahama found it ok to promote him. What message does John Mahama's actions give the youth in Ghana. It tells the youth that as long as you are an NDC supporter you can break the law and misbehave anyhow, and it won't be taken into account, and this is exactly what the IGP is doing. He overlooks criminal activities of NDC members, but instead harass people he thinks are NPP supporters with arrests. 2029 is only about 3yrs away, and when power changes and you are called upon to account for your power abuse, nobody should be crying witch hunting

How can you put someone SWO2,SWO1 to people who had C- in all their courses whiles the very institution let everyone knows that you have to get C+ in one of your advance course. It was a total hail for years. Promoting some of the senior officers to assume position bigger than them.
