A school bus with children on an excursion also had an accident in that area. Do not rule out African Electronics. They are on the trees at night boasting about how many each killed. Then laughter

It's a scarry road by itself with the steep slopes and curves. As a first step the police should stop those overloaded weak vehicles from plying the road all together.

SM, you are extremely right. I have driven, and been driven along that road many times. The gradient of the road is very scary. Drivers who ply that road should be very much educated and even undergo supervised periodic training and tests on the road. It is very absurd for a driver to descend that gradient with the Fourth or Fifth gear. Some few drivers think that they have plied that road many times and therefore become complacent and drive recklessly. That is stupid assumption.
I am the view that the GPRTU and the Government should organize routine and periodic training and tests on the road. That can help.
Also new Passenger or Commercial Drivers should be made to understudy the experienced ones on the road before allowed to take passengers alone on that road.
Finally, before Commercial Drivers take Passengers along the road, they must undergo a DUI Test. If a Driver should fail just a single DUI test on that road, the one should be banned from driving on the road for a minimum of One year. This would stop DUI On the road.. Yes before Drivers reach their destinations, there should be more DUI tests and the Testers should be frequently changed daily without the knowledge of the Drivers and any official at the Loading Stations..

Stop your cheap and stupid political ranting. My Grandfather is from Adukrom and had his Cottage and farms there. Accidents were not that very often because the Drivers then obeyed the Driving Rules and didn’t Drive under any influence. Now, some Drivers Smoke Weed and Drink Alcohol before they even start the engines of their vehicles. In such situations, what do we expect? Some of these Drivers don’t even value Human Lives.

Most drivers by nature are CARELESS with the mindset they are in control everything as if they are RELAXING in their Sofa Beds or living Rooms therefore don't take precautions of other Road uses. some Blows unnecessary Horns on other Drivers to pose Their STUPIDITY such as they in a hurrying therefore they selfishly needs the WAY. these are real issues my Brother!

@Accra is dirty. Com. So well said. I fully agree with you. The Government should withdraw the driving license from people who can not read nor write (illiterates).

These regular occurrences cannot be termed as TRAGEDY. It is the wilful omissions by drivers (possible recklessness, unfit, intoxication), the State (bad roads, non-functioning road signage, bribes for passing road worthiness, bribes to wave overloaded vehicles on etc.) And all we always say is "it is a TRAGEDY and my their souls rest in peace". Why does these regular occurrences not happen at the same rate in developed countries? I repeat, it is not a TRAGEDY but mostly due to our stupidity and inactions regarding necessarily preventive measures. And before you trolls come for me, EVEN IF MY MOTHER AND FATHER were involved in this accident, I WILL HOLD SOMEONE RESPONSIBLE, not call it a TRAGEDY. And if I died in these circumstances, I WILL NOT REST IN PEACE till justice is done.
