Thisi is not an accident! We brought this to ourselves. No Drainage, no building permits, no discipline. Where are the large number of people in the planning offices when these structures were being built?

Severe and hard sentences should be handed to anyone found red handed, reportedthrough intelligences for dumping any sort of refuse(borla) down public or private gutters, storm drains, rivers, lagoons or any environment where those refuse disposed of could end up blocking the drain flow should be given an automatic minimum sentence of 5 yrs in prison with extreme hard labour. , be it in the poshest residential area, nima, market, kasoa, kaneshie, bukom, chorkor, akotelante area, korle bu, korle gonno, osu, labone, cantoment regimental estates it shouldnt matter. The governments previous has spent billions of dollars saying they are fixing our drains. Yet every rainy season we encounter serious floods across nationwide where lots of humans have lost their lives, factories destroyed, homes destroyed, citizens died, schools damaged and transportation crippled. Worked left with no choice but to stay home. Cecilia Dapaah under his leadership spent $46million dollars dredging the odaw river, that $46 million wasas she explained only used to pay for the clearing of the sand, befs, fridges, rubbish, plastics that were recovered from the odaw river. So l wonder who much she spent on dredging the odaw itself. I will like to ask my great honourable friend who is son to my good friend the beautiful , kindest ghanaian l chanced to meet, to at least if possible give us the cost to dredge the odaw and also the cost to dispose of the sand and others found in the odaw through our negligence of some of our brothers and sisters who think its ok to dump all sorts to choke the odaw wayer way flow.
