  The farm gateprices are very low to benefit farmers so the farm inputs prices should be reduce before choosing the farmgate prices.

Come 2026 you will be disappointed big-time, some farmers like myself will stop. Medium and large scale production is unprofitable now. The peasant farming cannot meet the demand of the market It is better to stop farming, the agric-business is scam.

  We have had Operation Feed Yourself, Planting for Food & Jobs. They did not make a significant impact on our FOOD situation, otherwise we will not be rolling out a NEW food SLOGAN. Please,please, cut out all the slogans and rhetoric. Let one body PLAN & BUDGET & IMPLEMENT a coordinated program: Let us not grow any crop anywhere anyhow; let us link food growing and harvesting with processing, storage, preservation, transportation etc. Underpin those with Agric.Services & Credit etc. Some of our key strategic crops mature in less than one calendar year.Therefore, if we plan it well, our food situation should show significant upturn within one year.( B.Faso has done it). Let us learn !!!
