Musah Danquah's NDC Flagbearership poll is unreasonable, lack credibility , lacks objectivity and was largely ocassioned to skew the results towards only one direction so as to create a certain effect.If you picked Asiedu Nketiah, Ato Baah Forson, Julius Debrah, Okudjeto Ablakwaa, Eric Opoku, Armagh Kofi Buah, Ekow Spio Garbrah, Kwabena Duffour, Joshua Alabi, Oko Vanderpuje and Awuah Darko all from politically geographic south and pitched them against Haruna Idrisu, the only candidate from the politically geographic north, what credible and objective result does this Musah Danquah seeks to achieve ? Where is Algban Sumana Bagbin, Mahama Ayariga and other maybe perceived interested aspirants from the geographic north. This Musah Danquah's work is empty, self motivated, and an agenda to front for Haruna Idrisu. You cannot pitch almost eleven perceived candidates from the south as against only one from the north and expect to churn out a credible and objective poll out. What Musah Danquah did was flawed, deceptive and a height of professionalism in any reasonable and sound polling engagements. I can tell you, should Haruna himself analyse this polls results well, there is only one advice for him: He is not there yet , more so when no one has declared intent yet. Bear in mind that, NDC has not even presented more than five aspirants in any flagbearership contest before. To assume even without admitting that, Asiedu Nketiah, Ato Baah Forson, Julius Debrah and Okudjeto from south will contest against Haruna Idrisu from the north where the votes in the south can be consolidated amongst the above four, Haruna will not have any chance.

It is true that in the near future you would expect Aban Bagbin and co to join the race but he can only work on what he has for the surveys... So it is the surveys done based on those who have marginally declared their interest (either secretly or in the open) that advice the outcome that is projecting the figures and personalities who are likely to win... He didn't do it out of thin air...

When the others would also declare their interest he will add them and conduct the surveys again... But as it stands his surveys are realistic based on his research on the said personalities... It only remains a credible survey and not a reality that is what surveys are meant for. Except that his surveys are credible because he has other surveys that met reality... Most of his predictions (as a result of the quality surveys) have come to pass.

If Mussa Dankwa nkwa has any brains in his head, he should very damn well know that his unsolicited polls are creating division and tension in the NDC Party. This cannot be allowed to continue because the NDC, even with all its warts, appears to be the only political organization that has the capacity to stop the nation from falling over the edge.

There must be rules, regulations or laws governing the operation of pollsters in the country. People can't just willy-nilly get up and with the sole selfish intent of personal benefit, run a public opinion poll about anybody or anything without the express approval of the subject matter.

As in the case of the NDC, the situation is made worse by a runaway Party that shows the most cretinous level of indiscipline - especially at the hierarchy and executive level by all kinds of unsuitable wannabe pretenders.

We all know that politics is a difficult and high-risk undertaking but how can his handlers allow a situation where after a tedious but commendable performance at the UN, he returns to the country last night after the standard 12-hour flight, aboard a commercial airline. Late this morning, despite the high possibility that he might be affected by jetlag, he is on TV inaugurating some Board or the other. Meanwhile I am aware that he is meeting over 50 NGOs later today on the thorny issue of the existential threat that galamsey poses to all Ghanaians. This cannot be right.

I am not an NDC member and I have no idea if they have any scheduled intra-party elections for the reorganization of their party which clearly is beginning to show cracks after only 8 months in power. The President should first of all demand that specific identified people in the Party and the govt, should either be made to publicly deny any kind of Presidential ambition or, they should resign from any Party or govt post they hold and pursue whatever ambition they wish.

If the NDC can survive the looming implosion till the next election in 2028, my advice to the NDC as an observer, is that they should guide and groom the current Vice President to stand as President for the sake of stability in the country. Apart from a few two-legged quadrupeds in the NPP, nobody else is sick enough to utter a word of evil against her. This translates to mean an overwhelming number of cross-party votes plus those of the 60% of female population.

What is currently happening in Ghana’s political landscape is quite concerning. Just a few months after the general elections, some losing parties have already begun campaigning for the 2028 elections, creating unnecessary distractions and placing impediments in the way of the ruling government's administration. It may be worth considering that the Electoral Commission (EC) enforce a regulation restricting political parties from engaging in active campaigning or opinion polling until three years after a general election. This would allow the sitting government the space to govern effectively and focus on national development without premature political interference.

Merely accusing someone of being corrupt does not mean that person is corrupt and when arrested, should be killed. The accused should be put before the court for the accuser to prove that the accused is corrupt.

Dear Mr. Mussa Dankwah,

I write to express a concern regarding the frequent opinion polls being conducted about the ruling government, the NDC. It appears that these polls, so soon after the elections, are doing more harm than good by creating internal divisions within the party and disrupting the government's focus.

I respectfully appeal to you to consider suspending these polls, at least until a year before the 2028 elections. This will give the President and his administration the needed space and peace of mind to govern effectively and deliver on their campaign promises without unnecessary distractions.

As the Bible rightly says, "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" The current environment of constant polling and political speculation is fostering disagreement and disunity within the ruling party, which ultimately affects national progress.

In the same spirit, I would also suggest holding off on conducting opinion polls about the opposition, the NPP, until the Electoral Commission officially opens the window for campaigning. This will help ensure a more stable political climate and allow all parties to focus on governance rather than early campaigning.
