There should be serious security measures to be taken so that the Soldiers don’t become compromised. Don’t keep them at any Mining area for more than a month and when sending them to a different place, don’t let them know and send them to distant area from where they have been. Don’t easily and carelessly send Soldiers back to area they have been within three years. Who watches the Watchman? That is the most difficult question to answer correctly.

That's why I always say that the problem is the politicians and the useless western form of democracy. They're just playing games with us and the idiots among us who mostly are party imbeciles are the ones they use to counter the wise ideologies but what is to be will definitely be, their selfishness and greediness will never thrive. Nature showed them pepper few weeks ago, it is up to them whether to listen on ignore, what may follow will be bigger. Corrupt idiots.

Local Police commands in galamsey hotbeds need to undergo regular rotation. Monthly rotation may be a little too costly. Quarterly rotation may work better.

  Rotation won't solve the problem of bribery. Motivation won't stop it either. If we can't build security forces with integrity forget about it. Until we learn to recruit people base on their qualification and integrity instead of protocol and party affliation, we will never get things right. That applies to all other sectors of government.

I strongly support the rotational system otherwise it will come to nothing. F.O.B team leaders were sometimes demanding over GHC100,000 as compulsory monthly bribe to allow illegal miners. They also operate under the whims and caprices of top politicians who directs where F.O.B commanders should direct their operation. Some mining sites where no go areas.
