Forget about the eggs and the Schnapps. After he is eventually released, Evans should pass by the nearest political party office and register as a member. That is the only guarantee by which one can expect fairness from our justice system. There are hundreds of ordinary people wallowing for weeks and months on remand in our jails without any hope of finality to their cases. On the other hand put a demented in disciplined political activist on remand for a week or two and the entire political and media establishment will descend on the responsible judge like a swarm of bees.

Somebody defiles a thirteen years old girl,that was a serious crime that could have fetched him a life sentence.He managed to fall through a crack in the legal system and now this,just evil.Anyone remember the case of the late reggae star Peter Tosh who took in an ex-convict to rehabilitate him but he ended up dying at his hands in a robbery by the ex-convict and his friends that went wrong.
