Have you forgotten that you are now paying 1 dollar on any 1 liter sprit bought in Ghana, since 1st July 2025 for the energy sector?

The article said revenue not profit. Ecg is trying to be transparent. They owe soo much, that revenue is nothing compared to the hefty indeptedness to thier suppliers

They are also stealing from customers. They manipulate meter readings from Accra no matter where you live in Ghana.
Pure manipulation.

They should target about 75% installation of prepaid meters nationwide and they will generate enough revenue to match their expenditure. Also the unnecessary procurement by the ECG management should cease immediately. Another area of concern is the charges by Hubtel, they are now saying it has been reduced to 1.64% or so from 3% but it is still too high considering the quantum of revenue ECG generates monthly. Their commission should be around 0.1% and nothing more. If they won’t accept that offer, then ECG should be thinking of reactivating their own collection apps.

They dare not increase tariff. Those involved in selling the cables for remelting should be made to account for it. Dubik, Afenyo markins and Napo and the rest should be prosecuted and retrieve the money and be jailed.
