Imagine someone openly insulting Kwame Nkrumah or Jeremiah John Rawlings in public during the horrible parts of the AFRC. Would the explanation that the person was mentally unstable have been acceptable? No way. That person would have been taken to Nsawam in the case of Nkrumah, and to Gondar Barracks at the time of Rawlings.
The explanation that the Guy could not be insane because he was using an expensive Cellphone is not plausible. The Queenmother should be educated to understand that there are various degrees of mental instabilities, and even when they attack and certain things that triggers them on.
Queenmother, you would have been at the wrong side of the law if you came into contact with the person first and you had anything violent done to him, or have participated in his death. Queenmother, the times and seasons have changed. If you had arranged something bad that would have caused his death, and he also have very close family members who have access to AK 47 and also decided to attack your Palace, what would have happened? A bloodbath. Let the Police handle issues.
It is wrong to insult the Asantehene but it is very criminal to take someone’s life for that. The Asantehene should be respected but someone’s life cannot be taken because the person insulted him. Let the laws of the land work. Traditional laws are subservient to Constitutional laws.

I was born and raised in a VILLAGE. The School canning that was scrapped from Schools in the name of mariniSation and human right is to be blamed.

Years back when you see an Elderly person returning from farm and we are playing football, we will run, meet the person and volunteer to carry his or her load and sent it to the house and the person will say Me Nana Nyame nhyirawo.

When you board a bass and you see and Elderly person standing in OSA bus you have to wake up for the person to sit down. Now you site in a car and under age kid will squeeze herself so you sit at the middle so she can feel comfortable.

I can never insult those in authorities, Kuffour, Akuffo Addo, Mahama, Ken Agyapong and more.

How can you insult a man who is old enough to be your Grand Father?

I dont condone wrong doings but the African society I know is going wayward.

Law is Law and it must be respected through democratic process but at the same time we must be vigilant about how we treat each other.
