  Ghanaians abroad have installed all sorts of chiefs and sub chiefs, and celebrate all kinds of ceremonies proudly. Nobody harasses them, and they are free to beautifully celebrate our culture in all splendour. Why should we treat our Nigerian brothers like this? I believe it is just the idea of calling their leader a KING! If they had been referring to him as the traditional leader of the Igbo community, there would have been less acrimony. The name KING infuriates a lot of people because of the arguments about the Asantehene being labelled as the only King in GH. Let's face it, all our chiefs were kings. It is just our colonial masters who coined the name CHIEF to distinguish them from the European monarchs of the time! Let's wake up! Nigerians are our brothers, so we should not be disgracing ourselves like this. No harm meant when they come to pay their respects at our festivals! It is a sign of appreciation.
