It takes less than 6 elections cycles for first time voters to cross 40 years of age. Think about what that means. As for the politicians the 8yr cycle is enough to do what majority of Ghanaians couldn't do till retirement. The NDC won on the 24-hour economy promise despite their ridiculous failure to explain the policy. I guess those who claimed it could be done have come to the eminent reality. Back to the galamsey issue, didn't GMA hear JDM promise he will allow galamsey operators to continue mining when he wins power? He promised, and he's delivering it. The NPP has done a good job in taking control of the media, associations, across the board but they cannot take control of the people on contaminate their minds.
