We shout when some Nigerian migrants commit crimes in Ghana — kidnapping, killing, terrorizing our people — and yes, we should. But let’s not pretend the blood on our streets only comes from outsiders. Have we ever asked whether the victims of killings here were NPP or NDC before mourning? Truth doesn’t wear party colors.

And yet, hypocrisy reigns. Politicians act clean while their hands drip red. Zanetor? Daughter of a man who killed. NPP? Bomb throwers in their history. Who pointed at NPP men when Mills died? Nobody. Who blamed NDC when JB Danquah was slaughtered? Nobody. Both parties are the same — full of murderers dressed in suits, clapping for themselves.

But instead of honesty, we turn death into mockery, politics into a comedy skit. “Aboa be kawwu, ofe wu tamamu” — the beast that bites you is the one hiding in your clothes. The killers aren’t far; they’re the ones we cheer, the ones we vote for, the ones laughing at us while they bury us.

This is exactly the hypocrisy I’m talking about. Both NPP and NDC treat death like a political football — shout when it suits them, go quiet when it doesn’t. Justice? Forget it. Aboa be kawwu, ofe wu tamamu — the beast that bites you is always the one close to you. In Ghana, that beast wears party colors. Ask the Police why family members are treated as suspects for unexplained deaths.

In politically polarized climates, these false claims can spread rapidly through social media and other platforms, fueling misinformation and conspiracy theories. Why was that incident kept in secret? You mean as the then education minister (or whatever minister you were), you didn’t feel obligated to report such an heinous crime immediately. Why now? Man, you mean with all the multiple media outlets, uncomfortable users of phones with cameras, YouTubers, and possible eyewitnesses, nobody saw that? I think it’s high time you guys stop taking Ghanaians for granted and stop making excuses and blaming others for your failures. Anyway, if I were to make a choice about NPP presidential aspirants, I would vote for Dr Adutwum because he has fewer issues and therefore if he becomes a leader, the habitual NPP-related arrogance, mismanagement, corruption and incompetence and nepotism would be less.
