He should begin to show some seriousness and commitment to deal with the menace, and you should stop this nonsense of giving explanations of his tardiness. There's no excuse for any government to be unable to stop this menace in a matter weeks, given that the galamsey operations take place in plain sight and can be easily recognized. You can send a few security agents and a politician in tow to galamsey sites and not expect to have galamsey thugs put up a resistance. Use a show of force against galamsey operators and that menace will be gone in a matter of weeks. A government that has a will and a plan can easily bring galamsey to its knees. Ghanaians have heard far too many excuses, and they demand immediate action to stop this menace that continues to destroy lands while polluting waters. If Mahama never set a timeline to end galamsey, then Ghanaians want to let him know that they have a timeline for their elected leader to stop galamsey, and that timeline is for galamsey to stopped in a matter of weeks.
