One temporary solution would be to have undercover police or military personnel travel on some the night buses fully armed and ready to discharge their weapons when confronted. One or two responses would send shivers down the spine of the group of robbers. This does not require sophisticated surveillance. And it could be that some drivers and their mates are informants to the armed robbers. And that’s why police and military actions need to be undercover.
