rubbish the law was enacted in 2013.it's the enforcement that is lacking. They can't compete because they don't have the financial leverage.

Compare the prices of your members and that of the Nigerian traders, and you'll realized that you guys are extremely greedy. While a sparepart (e.g., motortyres) maybe sold at 100Ghs by a Nigerian dealer the same tyre would be sold at 150 to 200ghs by our greedy Ghanaian traders. So, the best will be to buy it from the Nigerian. Because the Ghanaian trader wants to make profit with exploitative prices. I heard some Abbosey Kai spareparts dealers saying that they'll not reduce their prices and disrespectfully said made derogatory remarks.When you have these kinds of greedy elements as traders then be rest assured that prices will never come down evem if the dollar rate and import duty are reduced. Suc a person is terribly greedy and wants to take advantage of customers with obnoxious prices. I think a price control regime is needed to bring prices of goods and services to their realistic levels. Now, nothing is being sold for 2ghs again. The minimum is 5ghs. Why sell 2 pieces of small size onions for 5ghs?
