I actually tuned in and I was proved wrong. The President had control of close to 30 questions posed by diverse groups of people from various media houses.The President did a great job.

I wish the media will be bold and smart enough to propose to his excellency president John Mahama that the practice of political appointments should be abolished to allow all to officials in government get elected by votes after this 4 year term, so that progress will come to come by competitive expertise in government or government of expertise (GOE), instead of allowing government of appointments (GOA) to keep Ghana in circles around quick progress and fast development. Encourage the president to use his executive influence or power and push Parliament to abolish the practice of political appointments and require all top officials in government to be elected by votes. With this divine ideology given to me by God, John Mahama can surely leave a lasting legacy they speeds up progress and development and will be considered the best president of all in Ghana. This is could be my gift of ideology for him, so he can understand that I am not an enemy but care about him and the people of Ghana where I was born before and where I also suffered before God gave me the chance to step out for some global understanding of the world we live in.

I could be worse than Kwame Nkrumah, because I have zero tolerance for evil, selfishness, wickedness, greed, thefts, poverty, slavery, pretense, hypocrisy, failure, corruption, division, conspiracies and indiscipline etc. I would turn what some fools often consider to be craziness or insanity by my actions into some really significant progress that solves societal problems to bless the society without caring about what any fools would say about me with their nonsense hearsays and backbiting. Let's disregard the three branches of government, checks and balances, and independent institutions. They'll be subjugated under his control, if not already. Furthermore, use the power you have as the incumbent government to target your opponents, such as Chairman Wontumi, Sir Obama, Kofi Akpaloo, Champion Striker, Abronye DC, and many others. If that strategy is accomplished, then the 2028 general elections will be a cake walk, as is done elsewhere in Africa, with 92-year-old Paul Biya, 80-year-old Yoweri Museveni, etc. That's where our democracy is right now – in a state of capture.

President John Dramani Mahama's explanation for not issuing an emergency order on galamsey was, at best, double speak, as he stated that gold is holding the economy at $3,000 an ounce. He also mentioned that, as someone who supports illegal or small-scale mining, he believes Ghanaian citizens and youth should be the ones damaging their own lands, rather than foreigners, since they (the foreigners) were previously the ones profiting from the mining. At least now, the Ghanaian youth, or illegal miners, receive about thirty to forty percent. However, water and energy tariffs are about to be increased by 225% each, due to pollution caused by changfans in our waterbodies, which raises turbidity levels to an alarming high.

Never forget that it was the same JM who, during his first term in office, imported twenty thousand excavators and fifty thousand Chinese gold seekers into the country, while others on the continent were setting up manufacturing industries to supply or cater to the 1.5 billion consumers on the continent. Nevertheless, go find out how many excavators are arriving each day at the ports. Some people are claiming that those behind the surge in illegal mining, also known as galamsey, include the President, John Dramani Mahama, Sammy Gyamfi, Pastor Joseph Yamin, and Kwaku Boahen, among others. All the President did during his encounter with the media was be duplicitous or two-faced. Watch or listen to it again, especially during the latter part.

These NDC people and sloganeering: the 24-hour economy has evolved into "The Big Push," which serves as the answer to all questions posed by journalists. The Council of State is an insult to all Ghanaians as a Second Chamber because it's not accountable to the electorate but to the President who appointed them. However, their advice to him is not binding, although it's our money that is used to pay the salaries of these useless members of the Council.

So the President makes promises on the campaign trail, concocts stories with his NDC foot-soldiers or posse, and brings them to the rubber-stamp Council of State, voila, prima facie is established. What nonsense, as if we don't know that he hand-picked them. Accountable and probity, Second Chamber is overdue!
