As the first Coordinating Director of the Jomoro District Assembly, I enjoyed the Nzema area for their peaceful and welcoming nature. I still remember the late Amenlemah,a well educated coconut farmer who was also a pioneer Assemblyman. The unfortunate thing I also remember was a confrontation I had with the Jewi Wharf chief over his unrealistic demand for the Assembly to share revenue from the Jewi Wharf market with him as the Traditional authority on a 50/50 basis. It made me had little respect for him as a person . Fortunately, the late Half Assini Chief, Amihere Kpanyilli who was a matured forward looking chief and a representative of the traditional authorities in the Assembly intervened and solved the issue amicably. I still have fond memories of enjoying fufu with tilapia and crab in that area and will continue to pray for peace and prosperity for the Jomoro area. Good Bless Jomoro, God Bless Ghana .
