This hypocrite called Pratt is selective even in calling out the injustice the African have suffered. Where is his call for reparation from the Arabs who started the mass enslavement of Africans long before white people started arriving in sub-Saharan Africa and whose participation in slavery far outweighs that of the West? He hypocritically turn a blind eye on the sins of Asia while always chastising the West. He speaks of racism but has never spoken of the racism of Arabs. In Gaza where Israel is bombarding, on a program on his Pan African TV, he spoke angrily about Israeli racism against black people in Israel to try to appeal to Ghanaians not to sympathise with Israel in relation to its conflicts with the terrorists but turned a blind eye on the apartheid in Gaza where black Arabs were confined to a separate neighbourhood which their light-skin fellow Gazans, who have confined them to that place, referred to as Al Abeed or the Slave Quarters, where these afro Arabs were subjugated and treated as second class citizens, stripping them of their dignity. If the ongoing Israeli bombardments of Gaza has no benefits at all, at least it has dismantled that racially segregated settlements in Gaza and we hope after the war black Arabs do not get pushed into another isolated residential neighbourhood derogatorily tagged "the Slaves Quarters" by their fellow Gazans.

Correct the title of the article. Instead of "shares light" it should be "SHEDS LIGHT". This is the right English expression.

Kwasi Pratt should rather use his power or influence or intellect to write about the corruption and incompetence of African leaders, rather than going on this wild goose chase. The Western world and the Chinese are still plundering Africa, and with the AU meeting only to entertain these corrupt and incompetent African leaders, Kwasi Pratt is wasting time talking about reparations. It's never going to happen. Mahama wrote the foreword for this. I hope he will implement his plans to rid Ghana of corruption and all the misdeeds being perpetrated by politicians.

A person who for centuries continue to inflict physical and socioeconomic injuries on people again, again and again is not wealth to be forgiven for the scars created by his inhuman acts.
I wrote the other time that if Europeans don't have the mind of perpetrating cruelty on Negroes the transatlantic slave trade should not have been a slave trade, but job exchange.
And just imagine the same people who claim to be the best that the world produced in terms of economics after the slave trade inflicted on Africa another form of inhuman act colonization.
But unfortunately Europe pretends that it did not realize its Poverty of Philosophy.
She, US and Japan will continue to inflict on the people of Africa yet another inhuman socioeconomic policy Neocolonialism.
So European and American imperialism killed the African three times, or we will say four times.

Kwesi Pratt stop quoting imaginary amounts to support your baseless narratives. Why did you not mention the many tribal wars in Africa that facilitated the slave trade. Some tribes waged stupid tribal wars among themselves to prove their tribal superiority and to impress the European and Arab slave traders.Africans don’t love themselves and they don’t deserve any reparations.
