Surely a Ghanaian by root but born American however it is gratifying to know that he is a Ghanaian by genealogy.
One good thing about the civilised world is that when they spot a person with a potential they make all resources available to support them to be able to tap into their abilities and capabilities for national development. Not only that they start grooming them with the necessary tools and resources to tap into their potentialities for future maximum efficiency and use practically.
All we know in our part of the world is big names of education- PhD, Doctor, Professor etc with very or nothing to offer practically.
Our level of education and expertise should be relative to realities on the ground empirically not theoretical.
Has John Mahama got PhD, Doctorate etc? No but he is working hard practically to deliver yet still even promising more for our country notwithstanding his destructors. Those cultures which do not know what is constructive criticism but rather out there to destroy for their own selfish interests.
We need thinkers outside the box for transformation in
terms of practicality in moving forward to success and progress and prosperity our dear nation Ghana.
These are accolades that can propel us as a country to heights.
We have many children in Ghana like Sean Atistigbe but we don’t even have those eyes to spot and notice them left alone have the expertise and resources to groom them for use for the betterment of our country.
All these failures are stirring us in the face because of our primitive MINDSET only interested in big names but not what those big names offer and solve problems practically.
