It was happening but not like this time. The flood gate opened when the former education minister stated printing past questions for students. That meant the government wanted every student to pass exams. So we heard can never fails schools with payments. Now some people want it to continue. We are likely to produce weak students if the government did not stop it.

Criminal, you used money from GIMPA to set up your school. Students from your school are also coached on cheating strategies so please spare us.

Prof you left out the real cause of the problem. The children are schooling without learning, it should be all learning in school, no interference from politicians and teachers allowed to manage, punish and control their students as you and me were taught and disciplined in school.

A superficial reflection on the kind of incompetent - and quite often, intellectually retarded people who have been running our public institutions and other state organizations over the past 50 years or so, tells me that this problem of exam-cheating has been discreetly going on for much longer than we think. Quite often we run into people holding doctorate qualifications when after a brief discussion with them, one would wonder if they have even attended secondary school.
This situation is becoming alarmingly similar to what has been happening in Nigeria where after every few steps, one encounters a person holding a doctorate but who cannot even express him/herself well enough in the language with which they suspiciously gained their degrees and doctorates. Both illiterates and educated prople all express themselves in the crude bastardized version of the English language which they then excuse and glorify as patois. Despite being one of the few massive producers of much sought after and expensive high grade crude oil and one of the world's largest exporters of oil over the last 80 years or so, Nigeria, as a result, remains fundamentally and chronically under-developed. This state of self-imposed under-development is as a result of an education system that is so corrupted that one might as well describe it as anything else but education. Ghana, which during the days of the great sage Kwame Nkrumah, was a model of quintessential education - not only in Africa, but throughout the developing world, has unfortunately fallen into this same rut. This is why our engineers and politicians cannot sustain - much more produce basic technical amenities and utilities such as traffic lights and, or ensure continuous flow of electricity and water even in urban areas. In other parts of the world, children of human beings like us, in kindergarten, construct albeit crude versions of trafic lights and other simple mechanisms as hobbies in school. When a country reduces the importance of education as a mere commodity which can be sold and bought by one and all, this is the end result.
