Akuffo-Addo spent a lot of money and effort to cushion the Cedi against the US dollar just before the 2024 elections and the impending busy Christmas import season. Just that the effect wasn’t felt because of the fear of instability during the 2024 elections and the busy Christmas season as well as some few other reasons.

But shortly after one of the most peaceful elections ever in Ghana’s history was over and John Incompetent Mahama and his government were sworn into office, the fear of post election violence subsided, so Ghanaians started selling the dollars they have heaped in their possessions, thereby creating a panic selling frenzy of the green bills ( dollar). Somehow the American currency wasn’t able to withstand the mad rush by which Ghanaians started to dispose their caches since some reliable financial news reports pointed a gloomy picture of prospects of the king of the world’s currencies, so the more the reports, the more Ghanaians considered the green bill a total liability and subsequently causing the price to come crashing. At that time the new NDC administration was yet to put together their cabinet, but they quickly started claiming credit for the cascading prices of the currency

Meanwhile they had just forced the NPP finance minister to read a provisional budget statement, and threatened to arrest him if he dare refused to read a provisional budget for the beginning of the year. If Mahama and his incompetent knows how to stabilize the rate of the Cedi, this is the time to prove themselves.

AZAA NDC ! THEY MANAGED TO PERSUADE MOST NPP SUPPORTERS THAT THERE WAS NO HOPE IN THE AKUFFO-ADDO AND BAWUMIA GOVERNMENT, AND THAT GHANA WOULD BURN IF THEY LOSE THE 2024 ELECTIONS, AND THAT EXPLAINS WHY MOST OF THE NPP VOTERS WERE CAUGHT IN APATHY AND DIDN’T EVEN BOTHER THEMSELVES TO VOTE AT ALL. THE PROVINCIAL REPORT FROM THE EC SUGGESTED THAT MORE THAN FOUR MILLION VOTERS MUST’VE STAYED AWAY FROM VOTING IN DECEMBER 2024 ELECTIONS.

That is why now every party has to use all foul means to subdue and maim people including the ec at both the polling station, so called collation centers, strong room etc to win election. Remember Lawyer Dafeamekpor abandoned South Dayi to physically hold an ec official under duress in a room to subdue him and prevent him from carrying out his lawful duties at Tema Central and has not been questioned. If we say we fear God this will not happen. We have to eventually resort to a lock down of the country during election day to avoid ballot snatches and violence by wolves parading as election observers and accredited party agents roaming on election day purporting to protect ballots and carrying ballot boxes on motor cycles to collation centers during night hours. Electronic voting will have to be used in future. May the good Lord save our nation from nation wreckers. The call comes to the church and religious bodies to preach against violence, under age voting, manipulation of the voters register, attack on security and other election officials, revenge attackes, contract killings, vindictiveness, revenge ransacking of homes.
