    A strong cedi is not in the interest of Ghana. A country that imports practically everything should have a managed currency. BOG is supporting the currency with reserves which will be limited in nature.

    Cedi gains are great ONLY if merchants adjust their prices accordingly. Unfortunately; in Ghana this doesn’t tend to be the outcome.
