This is not Ghana vrs DSTV Masa. You expect Ghanaians to put on our national jerseys with the Ghana flag and do what? How many Ghanaians subscribe to DSTV? It's not by force to subscribe to DSTV if you think their packages are too expensive. Let's stop the hypocrisy and the selective attack on DSTV.
Since Sam George claims the economy is doing well, why hasn't his government reduced taxes on import duties? Why is government still increasing utilities bills and introducing levies on petroleum? Why not remove the 14.7% on electricity first.
The Ghanaian economy is highly inflated from airfares ( domestic and international), hotels and restaurants, building materials, drugs etc. Therefore we need a holistic solution not this Buga buga approach. 3nfa!!

Public Declaration
We, the citizens of the Republic of Ghana, hereby inform the general public that Abronye DC is wanted and must be arrested anywhere in the world for committing a heinous verbal assault intended to slander and denigrate the President of the Republic of Ghana.
In his vile, uncouth, and loathsome outburst against the President, he described him as *“Aboa bi ba a ne ho kankan,”* which translates as *“An animal child that smells pungently.”* The offense of Abronye DC has reached its climax, and the nation can no longer tolerate it. The impunity of his verbal assault must be subjected to accountability, and he must be taught an unforgettable lesson.
Therefore, he is hereby declared wanted by the instrument of **Citizen’s Arrest of the Republic of Ghana**, with immediate effect, anywhere in the world. He shall pay dearly for his heinous verbal assault against the President.
We further call on the Honourable Minister of Communication to immediately close down his radio station to ease the tension and absorb the high magnitude of outrage felt by the citizens of our Republic.

Let's be fair and candid, is DStv subscription the only thing that is costly in Ghana ? What's the minister of trade doing about the high cost of even nkontomire and other things which the rise or fall of the dollar has no bearing on ? Everything in Ghana, be it goods or services, the prices are on the higher side so why Sam George has single out multichoice to torment it. Again drivers in Ghana refused to reduce lorry fares when it became necessary for them to do that and GUTA members said it would take them 30 days before they could reduce prices of their goods and services when the cedi appreciated. The 30 days period passed and nothing happened and the minister for trade kept quiet. Sam George should tell us the crime of multichoice and how many people patronise multichoice services as compared to lorry fares foodstuffs and other goods and services of which many Ghanaians cannot do without them ? Everything price is higher than expected so my conviction is that yes, it's Sam George v multichoice but not Ghana v multichoice.

The same foolish people ask them to pay an extra GHC20 at Accra Sports Stadium or Baba Yara so local footballers can get a decent wage they will curse your mothers private part. But they are ready to fork out GHC200 to DSTV. Maybe DSTV should increase their price some more to force these local idiots to pay more to watch local games at the Sports stadium.

I would like to understand why only DStv is allowed to broadcast football in Ghana. I believe there may be other channels that would be interested in showing these matches at lower prices or even for free. For this reason, I think the government should consider allowing other media outlets to purchase the rights to broadcast the Premier League, La Liga, and the Champions League. That would make DSTV have competitors in the market.
