By the way what is the contribution of Gas state to the development of the country? What do they bring to the table? Do we export Kenkey? Every country have more than one language and common sense dictate that they use the most spoken one as national language. In Grt Britain they have Irish language, Welsh, Cornish and Scottish but the use English. German in not the only language in Germany. There is Sorbian and North Frisian language but German is what is spoken. The word Akwaaba is spoken by all the Akan groups in Ghana, that is Asante, Akwapim, Kwahu , Bruno, Fante, Akyem and many other Akans in the Oti region. Stop the tribalistic mentality and keep open mind in other to develop. Many countries around the world have done away with language of their colonizers. We will forever be colonized. We can never emancipate ourselves from this mental slavery. We will rather adopt English language than accept one of our own.

@Just wondering. I fully agree with you. That thing on his head is extremely ugly to look at. This can be compared to the elegant and very majestic crowns worn by the Akan and Ewe chiefs. Anyway, "Oobake" to the Ga land.

There are no Ga lands in Ghana. They are foreigners from Nigeria.
Akuapems LOANED them the land when they came here to settle.
