He was so consumed in his autocracy and lawlessness that, he needed people like Gertrude Araba Torkonoo to push him back on track, but unfortunately, the woman was so corrupt to the point that she didn't want to offend gyimifuor Akuffo Addo with any solicited advice. That's how come we had Gertrude Araba Torkonoo, being so reckless in her judgements, caved in with that stupid and bizarre ruling that a birth certificate which produces a national passport cannot carry a recognition as a valid document for identification. What a terrible mistake Paul Afoko has made by publicly coming out to exonerate - as would be expected, his brother from the guilt of murdering a fellow senior party functionary and in the process, indiscreetly chastising the NPP for wrongly blaming his brother of the crime. Mr Afoko, the NPP may be down now but I wouldn't say that they are entirely out - at least not yet. Vociferously coming out now and not at any other time in the last 9, 7, 4 or 2 years will certainly not help your brothers cause in the still uncompleted case. You should know that the judiciary in this country is extremely politicized and polarized between the two main parties and if you are not lucky, things may not go your way. As you should also know, in the case of our judiciary, it is not a matter of who or what is right or wrong. For them, it is often a matter of who you are and a toss of a coin after many months and sometimes years and decades of convoluted painful time-wasting legalese, that will determine your fate. So please, you are a nice reasonable man so tread carefully for the sake of your brother.
