The cedi’s real strength won’t come from the Bank of Ghana pumping dollars into the market. That only buys time—it doesn’t reflect true value.
Sustainable appreciation can only come from fixing our balance of payments deficit: producing more locally, reducing import dependency, and growing exports. That’s a job for fiscal and trade policy, led by the Finance Ministry.
It won’t happen overnight, so policy continuity matters. Each government should build on existing initiatives rather than discarding them. Real stability takes time, discipline, and consistency.

The strategy adopted by managers of the economy in Q.1 and Q.2 was disruption and not stabilization. Pumping more dollars into the economy was not sustainable. Lets invest in the real sectors to grow our economy. That's a more sustainable way to strengthen our currency. We need good governance to send the right signals and unite as one people. The division between NDC /NPP is too deep and GHANA suffers in the long run. Always majoring in petty politics that does not bring growth and development to the masses

I live in US the money i use to give my was not enough anymore. I had to give her money dollars to do same thing. That's why remittance declined about 50%. They got it wrong, guys lets face fact. Since you don't government policy on pricing, just stabilize the cedi and let prices remain same.
