On the bench you showed clear bias, and your conduct and outbursts were below reproach. When Demolovo case was filed before the courts, you ignored taking action and went on vacation, thereby denying him justice and due process. The president asked him to proceed on leave. As chief Justice, you compromised yourself politically. Ghanaians are better off without the damage you have done to the judiciary.

And the “petitioner” who doesn’t work in the justice department got all those insider information on per diem etc? Reading the legal details and innuendos in the petition, it sounds like a cooked job. The committee should’ve investigated how and who put it together before pursuing what appears to be a witch hunt! The future of the legal terrain isn’t bright for Ghana. Now we know the Chair of the committee also had a conflict of interest which might have been obvious to the President too. This is not good for justice in Ghana.
