As for Kwaku Ansa-Asare, he will always spew garbage so long as he continues to apply yomo (hair dye) to cover his grey. Grey hair is a symbol of maturity and wisdom. Therefore, hiding it means hiding your wisdom

Gertrude brought this on herself. "The law is the law"! Not in our history under the fourth Republic has a CJ been so biased and unfair that got then National Security Minister, Albert Kan-Dapaah worried and cautioned the judiciary/government about the dangers.
The Chief Justice office demands the highest level of integrity and neutrality regardless of who appointed you. But that was not the case under Justices Anim Yeboah and Gertrude Torkornoo. At a point the office drew the infamous nickname unanimous FC. Gertrude sins were many but she would be remembered for putting up the fastest panel of judges for Afenyo Markins against the speaker of parliament in the Supreme Court.
Her removal through a constitutional provision should remind all of us (including the incoming CJ and the government), that positions and power are transient

Reaction from NPP stalwarts that does not represent what Ghanaian think. The dismissed CJ never stood for justice. An injustice was perpetrated to make her CJ. She was too partisan, never had a grasp of the law and completely stood against our democracy. It’s a lesson we should all take on how to lead independent constitutional bodies.

Agyei Baffour Awuah's conclusions are those of a tribal, ignorant and unprincipled person who fits the mold of Pontius Pilate, who presided over the trial of Christ Jesus to be crucified knowing all the lies told but relieved he could absolve himself by washing his hands. Did Gertrude Araba Esaaba Sackey Torkornoo protect John Domelevo when his docket got before the SC or did she sit on it for 2- years to render Domlevo's case moot, Baffour Awuah? Unless the framers of the Ghana Constitution and the travel documents for the judiciary were written by people who are dumb as bricks or nothing short of being circus elephants why would somebody who does not work for the judiciary and not mandated/compelled by law to go on vacation as was the case of Mrs. Torkornoo be entitled to per diem payment? Can and should people convicted of crimes in Ghana argue that their convictions were premeditated or predetermined by the courts? Did HE John Mahama or anyone on the committee influence Esaaba Sackey Torkornoo to engage in any of the petitions brought against her? Is Baffour Ewuah suggesting that justices on our courts should disregard the laws of Ghana and tamper with justice?
Dr. Zaato's opinion that the removal of Gertrude Araba Esaaba Sackey Torkornoo from office as CJ or justice on the SC is unprecedented is perhaps driven by tribal politics and not by a person with high intellectual capacity. Does an unprecedented event equate to evil, abomination and conspiracy? If so then the coup the overthrew Kwame Nkrumah's government on 24 February 1966 was evil. Perhaps the removal of Charlotte Osei and her 2 deputies was an act of conspiracy and a contemptible abomination.
For Kofi Tonto's 2-cent contribution and opinion I say I would rather be on the side of an "evil seed" planted by HE John Mahama for the removal of a mere mortal like Araba Esaaba Sackey Torkornoo than the "evil seed" planted by Akufo-Addo to use the name of the Christian God to steal money, lie and bring shame and acts of sin to leaders of all the church leaders who were handpicked to be compromised by the lure and evils of money.

I am afraid for the members of the judiciary, because if a president decides to assassinate or put some of its member at the firing squad, some of its members shall aid and facilitate the killing process. Ooooo very sad the politicians have succeeded in splitting the judiciary in front of the peace council, the catholic bishops conference, the chief Iman, the pentecostal association, the house of chiefs, the human right groups, etc, etc.

His indeed Dr. Zaato will be kind to His excellency JDM. I wonder what history will say about Nana Addo and the removal of the EC chair and deputies. Time is always an arbiter.
Then again, we know how Mike Ocquaye and Adu Boahen can distort history but now there are social media footage to back claims and the evidence are galore.
