who was she prior to be called to the SC bench ?
were there seniors at the bench prior to her appointment as the CJ ? what merits into that decision ?
It is a step in the right direction for the reseting all the institutions that are not fit for a purpose.
at least we are heading to a regime whereby the unanimous FC would be a thing of the past.
may be it is time we redefine - who a chief justice is and the criteria to select same.
a chief IS A HIGHEST RANK among a selected group of people
Justice is a person who delivers nothing than fair and just even if it goes against his or her own interest

a CJ must be a person who in academics is a chief,
when it comes to fairness he or she is a chief
when it comes to justice she or he is a chief
when it comes to interpretation of the law she or he is a chief
when it comes to delivery she or he is a chief
the CJ position cannot and should not be given to just any judge or lawyer.
The main reason the Supreme Court must be a court of consistency is because of the written laws
