The Volta Region will also change to the Ewe Region. The Ashanti Region and the Brong Ahafo Region laid the foundation blocks for naming regions after their tribes.

We, the Ewes do not see General E.K. Kotoka as a national hero. Yet, his name was given to a strategic and most prized national asset, the Accra Airport, Kotoka International Airport.

Gen. Kotoka was a coup maker who brought down Nkrumah´s democratic government, which signaled The Genesis of Ghana´s economic woes.

There must be a national dialogue on the renaming of the Accra Airport.

the Ashantis now have Kumasi Airport, Prempeh I International Airport as a name change for Kumasi Airport. It goes to say that the Accra Airport must be named after one of the great kings of the Gas, probably Ayi Kushi who ascended to the throne in 1510.

The Ewes must rename the Ho Airport as Tsali Airport because of his ancestral veneration. In many traditional settings, Tsali is remembered and honored as a great ancestor and a hero of the Ewe people.

There's merit in this suggestion. Apart from the regions with indegenous names, Ashanti, Brong, Oti, Savannah, Bono etc the other regions should consider name change; Upper East, Upper West , Central etc. Volta Region derives its name from a natural resource which gives the area its identity, no need for a change but the others with foreign geo-location descriptions can be considered as in scope for a change.

With regards to posted welcome greetings at the Kotoka International Airport, you as traditional leader of the area should appeal to others refrain from complaining about or trying to do away with the current two types of greetings and instead ask the government to add a Ga greeting to the existing two, and that's something that most people will support.
