This is a ploy to scare people into voting, even though they have been doggedly organizing their Ewe- and Northern-dominated settler communities to vote. The people of Akwatia, Boadua, Apinaman, Wenchi, Topremang, and other towns must show fighting spirit. Yes, Asiedu Nketia is evil. His jokes should not be welcomed.He is an enemy.

  They should deploy the Army during the election because the voters doesn’t trust the Ghana police anymore especially the NPP. The Ghana police has failed Ghanaians twice during the general election and the last by-election and also council of state elections in Kumasi the NDC macho men were attacking EC officials and media people right in front of the Ghana police and not a single arrest was made. It is a shame.

Some people who protested loudest against the deployment of the military appeared to be preparing the grounds for what happened. Send more security men, including fire service. We feel very reassured when they are around.

  It is open and clear that confusion shall break out and pandemonium is expected.
  It is unbelievably sad that peaceful Ghana has degenerated into a low security level in which violence can be foreseeable and easily predictable.

  It was so shameful to watch the behavior of NPP members towards Asiedu Nketia and his entourage during a solemn one week observation for the deceased MP . If the NPP could turn a mourning celebration into a battle ground then one can predict what will happen during the coming bye election at Nkwatia . When will Ghanaians learn morals and good etiquette. It is just a shame . The police are right to request that the military stay on standby during the elections because the fools in the NPP will cause chaos and the military should show them where power lies .
