I say she should not anymore waste time and sack those whom have no plans that are in action to deliver on their respective mandate...

You should also walk the talk and stop complaining. Get rid of those who are not performing. We are tired of the lose attitude to work found in all straters of our society. How efficient are you yourself? When you took office you promised that 70% of the streets in Accra will have street lights in 6 months. As of today not even 30% of the streets have lights and you have been in office for 8 months. This kind of poor performance (without consequences) can only take place in Africa. No wonder we are stagnant in our development efforts.

George, as far as I can remember the Greater Accra said she would ensure that street lights were installed at important parts of Accra within a few weeks. Several months down the line she has failed to do so but she is instead cracking the whip on others who are also failing to deliver.
My humble advice to her as a Regional Minister is that she should brainstorm with the relevant authorizes to restructure the governance structure of Accra to enable greater efficiency with minimum resources. Ideally, Accra proper should be divided into only 2 or at most 4 properly equipped district authorities. When Accra was managed by only one district authority some years back by the AMA, it wasn't perfect but there was greater efficiency and order. Today Accra is dotted with all sorts of idle metropolitan, municipal and sub-metro offices some of which do not have even stationery or wheelbarrows to work with. And unless the govt is satisfied with the current poor state of Accra, they should from now onwards, also appoint matured, experienced and knowledgeable people to run the city. The young people who have today been planted into leadership positions in district offices which are bigger than they are in the Local Govt structure, cannot be blamed because they simply do not know what to do.

You promised to restore about 70-80% of Accra street lights in 100 days not even one.

One goes to his/her office to sleep if he/she doesn't know what to do, and most of the MMDCEs are there for political purposes and have no clue about the work ahead of them.
