It seems Asiedu Nketiah is unaware of the devastating impact of galamsey on our food supply, physical health, and mental well-being. The deleterious consequences of galamsey that Ghanaians suffer from on a daily basis are worse than Mr. Nketiah's fears when a state of emergency is invoked.

Let's be clear: there are major NDC politicians, sympathizers, chiefs, and prominent people who are behind this menace, hence their refusal to act.
