I was at Tema Harbour yesterday of course to clear some stuff. President Mahama has been able to stimulate the economy compared to same period last year. The number of cars that were cleared yesterday compared to last year when the Harbour was like a ghost town.

Banking interoperability is possible because there's a quasi-reliable network system in Ghana and interdependent bank systems. What Dr. Bawumia brought to bear on the Ghana system is not reliability and integrity but a system in Ghana that will forever be subjected to doubt unless proven otherwise.

If the Ghana Card/ National-ID system that is biometric reliant and authenticated can generate 2 separate but equal Ghana Cards for Rev Kusi Boateng under 2 identities and birth circumstances under the nose of VP Dr. Bawumia then what is the reliability of the Ghana Banking payment system?

So once again here we are people looking to give credit to Dr. Bawumia for talking about something while his fan base of political wannabe folks do not want to give him the blame for his failure to bring inflation down, our national debt down or cedi to dollar exchange rate down. We need to educate every home about the benefits of this great system. Especially those who sell and buy gold, they can use this means to transact their business. It saves business the possibility of payment in counterfeit money, peace of mind, which if we all use will eliminate the armed robbery on our streets and homes. It was part of ETransform project champion by National information Technology Agency under Ministry of Communications. This was built by the Director at the time Mrs Veronica Boateng. During that time epayment system was working for online application of Passport. I was the PRO during that time when stakeholders such as financial institutions like Banks were engaged and many procured their passport using online approaches before change of government. So why are you people praising Bawumiah when it was just a continuation? Pls you guys should stop the noise. Some of us are tired with this kind of politics

Bawumia is not the originator of mobile money interoperability in Ghana. the contract was awarded to sibton switch limited before NPP came to power.
however the NPP administration terminated that contract and GHIPSS was asked to build the system.
it doesn't mean bawumia is the one came up with the original idea.
the idea was there before him and him the people at BoG had take steps to implement it before bawumia became VC.
if anything at all Anderson should be the one taking credit since the system was eventually implement under his watch.
