Yes, the citizens need protection, because they are being slaughtered by the same people who are supposed to keep them alive and safe. They are bunch of butchers, killing their own people.

Hospitals are supposed to be safe places but the one isolated incident involving Ralph and the nurses at the Ridge Hospital has been generalized to make it seem like all hospitals are not safe . That is not the case . The authorities must investigate the reasons behind the agitations of patients and their families in the hospitals. The behavior of some of the nurses and the doctors are nothing to talk about. They treat patients and their families without any respect. The insults and the treatment from the nurses are just disgusting. The minister of Health should conduct a survey of the practices that go on in these hospitals and he will be surprised at the results.

This absolute nonsense! Restrain your party activists for the health professionals to do their jobs.

This minister looks too jittery since he took over as the minister of health. He should take his time and let the Director General of the Ghana Health Service take him through a day's training/tutorials on the Ghana Health Service to enable him to appreciate the work of the service. To say there will be tight security for health facilities is a knee jerk reaction. Is he aware that CHPS Compounds are equally health facilities and that in some districts you can only find some 10-15 police personnel stationed in the district capital? So, assuming we have 10 CHPS Compounds spread over several communities in one district that is totally rural, will the police security be stationed in the health facility 24/7, who will provide him/her with accommodation, means of transport? The minister should be taught to know that the incident that warranted his current move can also happen in CHPS Compound, a clinic or health centre. Hospitals are just part of the larger health value chain in Ghana. Mintah Akandoh should lie low and learn, he's too gregarious, gri gri gri gri. No

The nurses too should behave correctly towards patients and their families or assistants

How did the attack at the Ridge Hospital happen, and why can't the fool who attacked the nurses be arrested? Is that stupid Ralph above the laws in Ghana?
