After all we paid a foreign contractors 250 million dollars to build 5000 housing units and ended up building just over a thousand. Did we not build an interchange at circle at a cost of 250 million dollars when a much bigger one at Pokuase was built around 90 million dollars. Did we not try to build a Temple for God with an initial cost of over a 90 million dollars? Did Rawlings not tell us about how a Baby with Sharp bought two houses at East Legon for 3 million dollars after the 2016 elections?

At think we should stop the hypocrisy and buy a new Presidential Jet for our Presidents. Is Ibrahim Mahama richer than Gold Coast Ghana?

The question of a presidential jet should not be that controversial. However, due to politicization that come such discussion in addition to the lack of openness and accompanying fraud related to purchase transactions, Ghanaians have every reason to question the legitimacy of any such consideration. A solution could be found setting by setting up a non-partisan technical committee to study such consideration which should be mandated to bring its conclusions to some public debate and finally consideration by a parliamentary committee composed of equal numbers, so that no one party can stampede the process. And there should be clear guidelines for the use of such aircraft. Any sitting president may not use such aircraft for political purposes, including campaigns. Such usage should demand the president paying for the full cost of usage for such activity. Openness is the answer.

You are 100%, correct but, remember the posture of Ablakwa as if Nana Addo will walk away with a new presidential jet. When Kufuor decided to build a presidential residence, remember what Mills, then opposition leader told Ghanaians. He said that "Ghanaians are hungry and the country cannot afford a new presidential residence".

The Castle, former seat of the president, was a colonial relic and it is an insult for us to use it as presidential residence, but Mills did not see anything wrong with that.

We have politicized everything to the level of idiots, and with that, what is next?

Many world leaders use commercial flights routinely. Im Africa it is slightly inconvenient because of limited flight connections but beyond the continent, that is a normal means of travel.
