So the response from the GBA ought to be that the President's name is firmly evidenced on the list. This is the only response that makes sense!! So Dafeamekpor is absolutely spot on his exposé. The GBA under President Nana Addo has never been independent but a surrogate of the NPP as seen recently about ongoing investigations into the CJ. Under the NPP, the GBA issued a statement that it was no longer going to get involved in talking about partisan political issues. And, indeed, the GBA padlock on its mouth. But as soon as the NDC took power, the GBA dropped the padlock without using a key and now takes sides with the NPP or has become the mouthpiece of the NPP. It's understood as the secretary is the wife of Joe Ghartey, an NPP guru. So, it's untrue for the current GBA to say it's actions are in line with the Constitution, maybe only after the NPP was booted out of power
