The Government of the USA will not abandon its own like that when they spend Millions of USD on fighting Palestinians and other Arabs and Israel. If the US Government is not ready to help its own, then Ghana Government can help because the Government of USA has helped Ghana and Ghanaians on many occasions. Did the Government of the USA not help Ghanaians and fed us during the Rawlings’s Chain era. Even our students were fed for free. Yes, we were fed with Tom Brown, Milk Powder, Pinto Beans. Ghana Government can help. The Hospital can also take it that they have done it for Humanity. What about the many rich Politicians who are struggling to get US Visas for their Party and Family Members?

The man claims his Social Security benefits were frozen, but he fails to state why. That's enough to raise a red flag.

Apart from his physical point of view at this stage one can argue that he some mental support besides the physical needs and support.

The Trump administration said Thursday that it is reviewing more than 55 million people who have valid U.S. visas for any violations that could lead to deportation, marking a growing crackdown on foreigners who are even permitted to be in the United States.

In a written answer to a question from The Associated Press, the State Department said all U.S. visa holders, which can include tourists from many countries, are subject to “continuous vetting,” with an eye toward any indication that they could be ineligible for permission to enter or stay in the United States.

Should such information be found, the visa will be revoked, and if the visa holder is in the United States, he or she would be subject to deportation.

Since President Donald Trump took office, his administration has focused on deporting migrants illegally in the United States as well as holders of student and visitor exchange visas.

The State Department’s new language suggests that the continual vetting process, which officials acknowledge is time-consuming, is far more widespread and could mean even those approved to be in the U.S. could abruptly see those permissions revoked.

The department said it was looking for indicators of ineligibility, including people staying past the authorised timeframe outlined in a visa, criminal activity, threats to public safety, engaging in any form of terrorist activity or providing support to a terrorist organisation.

“We review all available information as part of our vetting, including law enforcement or immigration records or any other information that comes to light after visa issuance, indicating a potential ineligibility,” the department said.

The administration has steadily imposed more restrictions and requirements on visa applicants, including requiring them to submit to in-person interviews.

The review of all visa holders appears to be a significant expansion of what had initially been a process focused mainly on students who have been involved in what the government perceives as pro-Palestinian or anti-Israel activity.

Officials say the reviews will include all visa holders’ social media accounts, law enforcement and immigration records in their home countries, along with any actionable violations of U.S. law committed while they were in the United States.

He said he is a retired army officer and a lot of people are believing in it. What if he isn't. Maybe that's what convinced the hospital to be keeping him, thinking that he has got a retirement benefit they could draw on.

He said he has no grandfather and grandmother. Many people of his age don't have grandparents. In any case, did he at this age excpect his grandparents to be looking after him?

Why has he not mentioned parents or his own children? Black or white isn't the issue.For me, a lot things don't add up about this guy. I think he has come to Ghana to retire from whatever he was doing, and he has found a retirement home in the hospital.

The only way his Social Security benefits would have been blocked is if he was receiving disability benefits from Social Security and failed to provide that agency with medical proof to show that his medical condition still exists. He was not serving in the military when he arrived in Ghana. He very likely had insurance provided by the national government, as in ObamaCare. If had such insurance, did he notify his healthcare provider that he was in Ghana and needed to know if they will cover his medical expenses in the country? This clinic should eat the cost of treating the man, for it should have contacted the US embassy when it first began treating the man to determine who will be responsible for his medical bills. Waiting till the man has racked over a hundred thousand dollars in medical bills before contacting his embassy isn't a prudent thing for any business to do.

As did many other young men. “Harold” was a manipulative person and exhibited predatory behavior. I’m not sure if he has much family around. Any time they would call him he would talk to them all high and mighty. Like he thought he was better than them. I think karma caught back up to old Harold AKA “Hal.” But yeah he was a big Michael Jackson fan, a “I wanna move to Africa” sayer, and a supporter of the BLM movement – before the fraud/scandal of the organization separately… He once told me that the color, white, is the existence of no color, while the color, black, is the existence of every color… even though it’s the complete opposite. So, yeah.. bit of an oddball… When I knew him he was a very strange, and sort of narcissistic - borderline sociopathic individual. And he was sober. I’m not sure if was/is leading up to all this. This was about 10 years ago when we crossed paths.
