  What is considered cottage industry in Japan is a big industry in Ghana. Plus ecowas protocols already allows our Nigerian and ecowas brothers to do business here unhindered.
  Lets pray he has tactics in place to avert the influx of little minds into our economy.

Hope this is not a way appease the Nigerians following their long term feud with the Ghanaian traders? Mr president hope you still remember is the Ghanaians that gave you the mandate for 4 years and your legacy will remain with the populace forever

  Ghanaians are always scared of competitive business. They are only scared of Nigerians. Nigerians on the other hand are not scared of compitive business, as they have allowed foreigners to do retail business in their country without fear of competition from their rival. Change your mindset and grow.

  @ Gogo, how many foreigners operate businesses in Nigeria as compared to Ghana? People walk more freely in Ghana than compared to Nigeria. Which sensible foreigner would come for business in Nigeria.

  I want to stop commenting on this useless Ghanaweb platform because it takes some of my precious time but some of this rubbish and senseless politicians is making it difficult for me..Mahama, this is such a senseless and rubbish initiatives that needs to be given a second taught..this is the same mistakes nana Addo did and Ghanaians suffered for it..why is it that any incompetent govt either Npp/ndc, whenever they come to power, all that they are thinking about is foreign investment that will come to Ghana and be paying the indigenes peanuts while these so-called foreign companies makes billions of dollars and take it away..As a govt what’s your plan for local businesses and investment..must Africans continue to be slaves? When is this incompetent govt going to think about making millionaires and billionaires in Ghana by promoting Ghanaian owned businesses..we have to be blunt, such stupidity needs to be stopped..enough of always politicians promoting foreign investment while’s neglecting local businesses..president mahama since u came into power, u have been trying so hard to sabotage some Ghanaian businesses simply because they belong to the opposition party..this nonesense cannot continue..#Ghanaian businesses must thrive..how long are we going to be continuing in this stupidity..nonesense
