  The essence of higher education is to effect change in society. If as PhD holders in our universities, lecturers and researchers can't change our society but only flaunt those academic titles in our faces, and jealously guard them against the usage of those titles by wannabes, then those titles are as useless as those wannabe Professors and Doctorate degree holders. The least GTEC can do is to allow all those fake degree holders to use them so long as they don't seek professional employment with it. Once they attempt to work with it, then GTEC can come in.

  Therefore,they are all professors,full time or part time you can't say one is fake in terms of academic qualification.

What is happening in Ghana is very dangerous and a disadvantage to genuine scholars who aspire to further their academic careers. Where’s the Education Minister?   Ghanaians love trivialities. Why the fuss about this prof thing? Long time ago, it was common knowledge that in Ghana university teachers intentionally failed students or gave them lower grades to keep them down. Students moved to Europe and America and came out tops. Ghanaians argued those systems were easier to get good grades.
  With our chew pour and pass lecturers and profs today who sadly produce nothing, people are wasting their time chasing use of titles.
  Who ever calls Obama Dr. Barrack Obama? And what does take from him? In Europe, especially the Scandinavia students address their university teachers only by their first names, no titles.
